Drawing under hypnosis

I scratched this picture into a soft prepared surface under hypnose. I had a record with hypnose instructions made together with prof. Drs. Jan Willem van der Does whom I had invited to do an hypnose art project with me. Oldy but goody. 😀

Studio visit

Claar Griffioen and Paul van den Akker visited me in my studio to have an interview about Frans Franciscus or Frans van den Vooren. They write a book about him and his art.

I was with Frans in Berlin in 1984. Pim my nephew was with him and I met Also Erwin Olaf there. It was a great time of exploration and discussing each others art.

Brunch and talks and showing works

Work from the Berlin time. Morning cock and the opera singer are from Frans. The others are from me.

Frans Franciscus

Going through my drawing Diaries as art historians Claar Griffioen an Paul van den Akker are writing about Frans Franciscus. We spend time together in Berlin. I just had finished the Rietveld Academie and Frans was in his last year of Artibus. We were intrigued by the Holy Sebastian. I told Frans More religious stories as he was a Atheist. Me too but was raised as a Catholic.

At work in Marrum Friesland

Having my own working space when I visit is great. Here in front of the beautiful painting from my sweet friend Machteld van Buren.

Akzo Nobel’s choice

The singing ringing tree, teedeleedee. For my baby. I need an adventure. Titels of the works now in the collection of Akzo Nobel .

Great to have the curator Augusti of Akzo Nobel over. They have a interest in my latest work. My Re-tweets, based on tweets.

Going through my last watercolor drawings, Augusto made the choice for those three

A series of my watercolors on the ground. At the back my work for the graphic exhibition, a huge monotype.
